April Fools' Comedy Night
Stand-Up Comedy is coming to Tierra Distilling on April 3rd to celebrate the week of April Fool's Day. The show features 4 professional stand-up comedians and has a 70-90 minute run time. The show begins at 7:00 PM but be sure to come early to get drinks and seats in our intimate performance space upstairs at Tierra. Advanced ticket purchase is highly recommended for this event.
Here is the lineup for the show:
Host: Lauren Vino - Lauren has been a comedian for over 10 years and has performed on stages during her time living in both New York and Chicago. You can see her at clubs all over the Midwest.
Feature Act 1: Matt Michalski - A Chicago based comic and full-time firefighter/paramedic. He brings stories from his job to the stage as well as observations from his daily life, his time in the military, and dealing with Celiacs disease. He's performed at venues such as Zanies, The Second City, The Comedy Bar, The Lincoln Lodge, The Comedy Vault, and The Comedy Cabin.
Feature Act 2: Kat Rybarski - Kat has been performing stand-up comedy since 2006 and has performed all over the Chicagoland area and at nationally recognized venues such as Zanies, The Improv, and The Laugh Factory. She made her debut in 2019 with the renowned Comedians You Should Know showcase in Chicago.
Headliner: Mike Stricker- Mike is a nationally touring comedian who lives locally in Westmont. In fact, you may have seen him and his family on the December cover of Westmont Living Magazine. Mike has performed stand-up comedy in all 50 United States. He performed in the 2024 Alaska Comedy Festival and has worked with famed performers including Chris Kattan, Pauly Shore, WWE's Mick Foley, Creed Bratton from NBC's The Office, and too many others to fit in this bio. Mike's show is high energy and the opposite of political. He wants you to have a good time, every time!
Black Tie Vodka Release & Valentines Flight Event
Our first vodka is finally ready and it took longer than you might expect. That’s because our vodka isn’t like most. We recycle materials from our other products to create a grain and apple based vodka with incredible texture and mouthfeel. Add to that the overproofed 50% ABV and you’ve got a perfect cocktail vodka or neat sipper. The story behind this product goes deep into John’s experience rescuing a pair of black tie cats named Vodka and Tonic….(It was a dark and stormy night). Stop by Friday to hear the story firsthand!
The Valentine’s Day Release party will also feature our Valentines themed flight: Box of Chocolates. Each incredible creation a whimsical ode to the romance of the day. You can also try our newest cocktails featuring Black Tie Vodka.

Distiller's Tour & Tasting 11/2/24
Venture to join us for a tour of Tierra Distilling led by one of our lead distillers. Learn the backstory of our founding, how we make all of our products in our micro distillery and why we're different than most. The walking tour is 45 minutes and drinks are allowed. We'll then follow that up with a 30 minute sampling of our products including brandies, liqueurs and whiskies. Rare bottles and merchandise are also for sale in the shop after the tour.

Halloween Walk
The annual adult and kid friendly trick or treating in downtown Clarendon Hills. We always have a few surprises up our sleeves, some for the kids, some for the adults. The annual witches bike ride for charity highlights the day’s events.
